This is the lovely cake that Shelby made me a couple of days ago! I'm blessed with such an amazing daughter! She makes me so proud!
And on to today's post...
I'm really beginning to HATE this TDY. Little to no communication with my hubby makes for a very long couple of days. He was able to get online for about 20 minutes last night which was a nice change from the past week. I was kinda short with him, maybe I shouldn't have been, but I just couldn't help it. The loneliness of this month without him is getting to me. Today he called me from a prepaid phone someone was so kinda enough to let him borrow, and I am eternally grateful to them. That was the best 10 minutes of the last 2-3 days. Shelby has a science fair coming up this week and today and tomorrow we will be putting the finishing touches on her report and display! She's nervous about her interview portion, but I have plenty of confidence in her that she will do just fine! She's going to do great and this is what I keep telling her. Lilly hasn't taken a nap in 3 days, and I'm hoping she will go to bed at a decent hour tonight. I'm thinking maybe those wonderful 2 year molars are creeping in.
I'm making a promise to myself to spend less time online, and more time with the kiddos, and doing things for myself. I have a 2 1/2 bedroom house to get organized and ready to be packed for our upcoming move to a 4 bedroom. We are #11 on the waiting list, lets hope it doesn't take to long. I have a medical billing and coding class I need to get finished. I am going to finish it, it seems like I am forever starting and not finishing things and I will get this done if it kills me. I want to spend more time on personal things that make me feel better! I can do this and I'm going to do this.
2 weeks till this lonely period is over...
2 weeks 1 day till Lilly's 2nd birthday..
and 2 weeks 2 days until our anatomy ultrasound.
I can't wait!!

We need to make a pact. Start doing some stuff for ourselves to feel better! Whether its finishing projects we started but never finished or doing our hair and make up. Good luck!
